The Pondless™ Waterfall Kits Are one of the newest and hottest features available, but it doesn't have to stop at the kits we've put together. Using the same plumbing and circulatory system, customized Pondless™ features with longer streams and more intricate designs can be created as well. By simply increasing the basin size and upgrading the pump, the possibilities multiply. Other interesting features such as negative edges for ponds can also be created. Our recommendations can include:

Basin size. This is probably the most important aspect of a customized Pondless™ Waterfall. As the stream length and width increase, the basin also needs to increase to accommodate the upsurge in water. As a general rule of thumb, you should have twice the amount of water in your basin as you do in your waterfalls and streams. Contact our technical support department for basin recommendations.

Pump size. As your stream length, width, and elevation increase, your pump size must increase as well. Remember that you want to get about 150 gallons per hour for every inch of waterfall or stream width.

Centipede™ Module. The normal Pondless™ Centipede™ Module, which is three feet long, can be used for pumps up to 10,000 gallons per hour. As the basin size increases, however, a full-sized Centipede™ Module should be used to optimize water intake. For smaller custom features, the Mini Snorkel™ Vault and Centipede™ Module System is also available.
