 Some jobs are simply outside the range of our larger pond kits, or include custom features like long streams or multiple streams. Although building philosophy stays the same, some extra materials need to be added to complete the job properly.
If your needs exceed the specs of our standard pond kits, give us a call. We'll put together a customized pond kit perfect for your needs. Our recommendations can include:
Multiple BIOFALLS Filters. As the ponds get larger, extra filtration may need to be added. The addition of multiple BIOFALLS filters or one Grande BIOFALLS filter can often get the job done.
Multiple Skimmers. Larger pond sizes and more complicated designs may require multiple skimmers to alleviate "dead areas" with poor circulation. A Grande Skimmer with multiple pumps may also be used.
Wetland filter. A small wetland filter may also be a good idea on larger ponds instead of, or in addition to, a BIOFALLS filter. These Wetland filters can be placed anywhere and can handle ponds from 600 all the way up to 80,000 square feet!
Multiple pumps. Often multiple pumps are necessary on larger custom projects in order to drive multiple features. Depending on the flow needed, a single pump split into two lines with our manifold kit may also do the trick.
